Chrome has an example, where logged-in users are shown their most common visited pages or chrome app tab. FF and Safari have similar behavior; but all embed this behavior in a browser tab, which is more appropriate metaphor given common browser conventions. Try to cite an example for a non-browser; Adobe suite, Alias, and others all open to CTA splashes. | |

Wilson | @JackM - I agree completely; I've actually had an experience where a splash screen stopped showing and an important add on for the program was at the same time not being loaded. For me at least, unexplained changes in program behavior end up being issues or errors. | |
