Apps don't have pinch to zoom, the only reason for pinching to zoom is for browsing full-site pages on a small screen. If the site is designed and built well then you shouldn't have to pinch. That idea means you're reducing the amount of content visible on-screen because you've zoomed in. Of course I may be wrong and pinch zooming may well be the way to go, but I think that interaction is a legacy from viewing bigger non-mobile optimised content on small screens. | |
