I believe now it really depends on the scrollable panels purpose. If for example you are creating an inbox experience with multiple columns, one for scrolling mailboxes, one for the message panel and one for the reading panel, browser default scroll bars would look terrible and make the application less easy to use as it is less like what the user would expect from that kind of an experience. I would be interested to know if you still think this way 5 years later? | |
