Oct 6, 2016 at 10:33 comment added geostocker From personal experience (I use a Samsung S7 Edge) I can only say that if your game will require a lot of typing, in an environment that might or might not be stressful (I'm thinking TotD) then it might be good practice to use either a navigational button in the top left corner of the screen or embedded in the menu. It all depends on how much immersion you are willing to sacrifice. :)
Oct 6, 2016 at 10:29 comment added J. Doe The game would be in portrait mode and would have a soft keyboard at the bottom. But the user would only be allowed to type letters so he wouldn't have the opportunity to tap on the keys close to the back button anyway.
