Art, Geek, Design - is my tagline. I am a jack of many trades and a master at a few, but generally I love learning. I started out as a kid who coded in DOS in the 1980's. My father was a do-it-yourself type person as a mechanic with the mind of an engineer that loved computers.
I got on the track of an environmental scientist in high school and wanted to be a vet-tech, but chemistry thwarted me. So I turned to art, animation, and design. During my college years I learned to code html as a hobby, discovered accessibility needs, and embraced CSS. I became this hybrid of coder and designer.
Now I'm self-learning javascript, as well as keeping myself updated with html5, CSS 3, and accessibility changes. Oh yes... and arting with my kids!! That's the best!
