My name is Marin Todorov and I’ve been programming in the last 18 years (sigh).
I started on an AppleII clone with BASIC and made my way trough Pascal, Delphi, HTML, JavaScript, ColdFusion, ASP, Perl, PHP, Java, ActionScript, C# and many others. Working in several companies on so many different projects gave me the opportunity to have a great overview of many different languages and how they compare and compete.
I wrote numerous technology related articles and also published a book on programming in Perl back in the day, my most recent accomplishment was getting couple of articles in O’Reilly’s Adobe AIR Cookbook
Recently I’m greatly fascinated by Objective-C and the Cocoa framework. Objective-C has the power of a compiled languge, but it still has the hackerish feeling of Perl, and the powerful development tools of C#. It is really great.
