I spent 40 of the best years of my life lecturing and researching in Usability Evaluation, I created the SUMI and WAMMI questionnaires, and now I find that I've been working with User Experience all along. Oh well, that's life. I still run these two questionnaires as private businesses, and have Academic Licence rates (like, free) for bona fide students.

With my good pal, Kent Norman, I've just finished co-editing the Wiley Handbook of Human-Computer Interaction. Not only does Kent have a brilliant mind, he also likes the same kinds of cigars as I do. See http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/book/10.1002/9781118976005 .
Apart from that I do a lot of diving off the coast of Crete, play the piano and flute, read the New Testament in the original Greek and generally sound off on my opinions to anyone who is foolhardy enough to ask a question.
