Starting in iOS 13, UISearchToken is available for use in UISearchTextField.
UISearchToken appears similar to input chips (more information in the WWDC19 Video) and there are also libraries like token-ui which support back to iOS 11.
Left align text is most favourable and used in web and mobile user interfaces because the human eye tends in "F-Patterns" - (read from left to right).
