How to add aan amount of itensitems in to a "new categoy"category" or a "existent category"

I need a standard to the below situation:

I have a list whenwhere the user can choose multiple itensitems, and than he can press a button that will "add the selected items to a category". But, I want that the user isto be able to add the items to:

a) A new category;category
b) A existent category;An existing category

My fisrtfirst idea was show a screen to choose option A or B, and than the next screen will ask the category name or list all existentexisting categories. But I'm not sure that is the betterideal way.

I tried to search about this, but I don't know what keywords to use.
