comment How can I indicate that an area is swipable?
@dan1111 Does it seem less clear than a table view being swipable?

What if I have a magic the gathering card with an obvious backside? I'm sure there's other things you can reasonably swipe than table views. ;) The hand is contextual within the app, it doesn't really matter what it does.

comment Collaboration for creative digital teams
Exactly this, embrace the chaos. As a development company we work with our clients to help with scoping but we almost never get a complete picture and meetings aren't normally that helpful, because designs and approvals can be in a state of flux through the project. Having 1 contact person on each side that can clarify, be organised and ask for feedback is key.

comment What's the most natural way of handling end-dates and midnight?
@infoal Oh it does mean the end of the day. 24:00 is the end of the day. I was just commenting to say that 24:00 is natural to me.

I'm Swedish so the ISO standard for date with "military time" (like Americans like to refer to it) i.e. yyyy-mm-dd 24:00 is completely natural to me. :) 24:00 and 0:00 is the exact same time, but carries slightly different meaning to me. Thanks!

comment Why do most public toilet doors open inwards?
I was told in usability class in Sweden that in Europe doors open towards the exit so people get out faster if there is a fire, while in America they open inwards to let the fire departement get in faster. Almost all non-shop doors open towards the exit of the building. It seems like this can be rationalized either way.

comment Is it appropriate to display the warning message “Caps Lock is on”?
@Anirvan - In anything I know I would just ask it to do login(password) and then login(invert(password)) to see which works. Alternatively wrap the default login which is about as much work. I'm not sure what it would be a lot of work to implement in.
