comment “Likes” vs “Vote Up” For Sharing Content
It could be something completely different and related to your service/product (can't help but think of cheeseburgers)

comment Combobox-clutter… how to solve?
They can still be required and divided into sections (not pagination, all in the same page but separated graphically). It might sound simple but I've tested it and it makes a huge difference, people respond way better to staggered forms. And great point with the radios too.

comment What are some good font guidelines for headers, paragraphs, etc. that just look really nice?
@egervari web applications are web pages, and both can be very complex. The principles are very similar, and I think this answer summarizes it perfectly, specially in the last paragraph.

comment What happens when users register?
@DisgruntledGoat Maybe it could use something like a lightbox to ask you if you want to save your pass when you are automatically logged in for the first time

comment Cultural differences while usability testing
Can't help but comment. I haven't read the study you mention, but relating masculinity vs femininity to achievement, assertiveness and ambition vs. nurturing and caring for others, is also a cultural association.

@ph33nyx That was the best answer I've read, why don't you post it as such?
