Should the OK/Cancel buttons be aligned right or centered? And test it. test it. test it to ensure that It Doesn't Matter. ;) |

Adding USA at the top of dropdown list of countries. OK practice or not? Wow, there are a lot of great 'takes' on this topic. But - in ecommerce situations - always TEST (A/B testing) your design choices in production to arrive at what's best for your site. |

Preventing impossible clicks Good one: link rot on a news site or blog is an interesting use case for managing potential 404 conditions - basically the case is one where the site owner does not control the content the URI refers to. In general though, wouldn't it be such that "most users" would not prefer a link-to-404 result even on such a site? |

Preventing impossible clicks Yes I know the article well. I was calling attention to the difference between the context of his post and your question which involved disabling links that lead to "bad" outcomes. |

Giving my clients all of the information… or not This is an interesting and courageous comment. I upvoted because I'm wondering if THIS COMMUNITY is "right now" exhibiting typical user behavior. We all know to pay more attention to what the behavior is, as compared to the comments. How many voted for the "full disclosure" answer because that is what they believe to be correct/right, when in fact they would actually prefer a site that is honest but leaves the details TBD. Just wondering, guys & gals... :) |

Using color in wireframes…is this a “no no”? +1 for the disclaimer, but I have seen mockups and other artifacts become sliced up and passed around to an almost unbelievable degree. Far better to have an engineering process that ensures that DEVs work only from approved artifacts. |
