Selecting Multiple Ranges we actually don't show all the Parent elements at a single time. Just the one you are dealing with. |

Selecting Multiple Ranges While I agree, free text is ideal, the users don't want it. |

What toggle button should represent - state or action? I think your icons are mixed around currently they way they stand. If the icon isn't part of the button, then maybe they are ok, showing current state. But as you have them, I would be confused. |

Why don't ATMs give you cash before your card? Losing a card can be much much more costly than losing a few hundred dollars cash that you forgot to grab. |

What is the UX strategy behind Facebook forcing users to use the timeline? @dhmholley, "and as we know, they don't like sharing" ... ironic. |

Preventing a user from pasting from the clipboard into a mandatory form field @Lieven, ironically, we are talking about mistyping email addresses, and you misspelled "lose". |

Should users be forced into a responsive design (without the ability to opt out)? I disagree with "the primary intent of the design was desktop, with mobile layout being an automated after thought." IF you are designing a new site, with a new layout, you should start with the most restrictive design, mobile, and then scale up. |

Is a number easier to read with the thousand separator? At 4 digits, it makes very little difference. Beyond that, the separator should exist. Unless there is a mix of 4 and 5 digit numbers, in which case, for consistency all should have the thousands seperator |

Why did packaging for reams of paper change from paper to plastic? Uh..."Ask you favorite secretary for a demonstration of the amazing powers to unpack certain things using nothing but her experienced hands (sometimes the mouth, or the teeth to be more precise, is also involved)" I think we need to add an R rating to this post!? |

Do people respond more to $ off promos or % off promos? "on a product of 100$ the 10% looks less than the 100$ off" ...that's because it is less, 100$ off makes it free! |
