Do people actually use tooltips? @BrendanMcK Great info, thanks. I have removed "Website" and "Web app" from my answer. I did a little more research and agree with your statement about HTML use of the title tag. Screen Readers like Jaws read the ALT tag rather than the title tag. Found this great guide. |

Honeypot captchas and accessibility The user does not care about the developer's spam problems, they may not even know what spam robots are. Bottom line it is an extra field on the form that the user has to process. Some users will cope with it others will bail out and not use the site. |
