View refresh frequency @Michael Zuschlag You are completely right. I think so. I will try to explain that if application is too busy, so it is necessary to use low rates. I will limit dangerous refresh frequency values. |

View refresh frequency I will reject values more then 1 refresh (update) per second. The optimal value equals to 1 time per 6-10 seconds. |

Should a light switch be small or big, or does this depend on other factors? @ChrisF good point! thanks for information. I think, it has more natural meaning: the sun rises (UP) and goes down. :) |

How to decide between “consistent user interface” and “adequate user interface”? @ammoQ Then you can suggest or can present the new UI. Be care that users are lazy and would complain on your some improvements :). After a while everything will be fine. :) |

How to decide between “consistent user interface” and “adequate user interface”? @ammoQ great, you have done the first one. ask users what do they think about their part of application that they are responsible for. I am sure every group of users (managers, accountants..so on) have what to say about issues, improvements, UI bugs. After that you can analyse this information and, I am sure, you can improve UI workflow. |
