+1 This way is best because it minimizes the number of choices the user has to make before getting started. You could leave an option in your settings page for users that want to change display language afterwards.

They don't seem to use @font-face for body text, which creates a visual inconsistency. Odd.

@BenBrocka: if you are e.g. quoting a paragraph from a news article, you might want to hyperlink directly to the relevant paragraph.
