How to give users feedback about rejected input? @Mohit The photos are taken in Macro mode, in which focus is fixed to the nearest point, it's up to the user to position the camera so that the object is in focus. |

How to give users feedback about rejected input? Unfortunately, our pre-processing takes too long to do in real-time. Adopting this approach would drop the preview frame-rate to about 0.5 fps, arguably worse UX. |

How to give users feedback about rejected input? @AndroidHustle It's automatic. It takes a couple of seconds, so can't happen in real time. I can't elaborate as to what we're doing I'm afraid, but if the pre-check fails, the server-side processing will fail. |
