How can users be prevented from pouring water into the bean compartment of a coffee machine?
It wouldn't have to be that expensive. You could have a food-grade plastic cleated conveyor belt. The belt would go from a bean pour in area at the bottom up to the bean hopper. The belt could have V shaped cleats (teeth) with a hole at the point of the V for water to fall through. Beans would catch in the cleats and be moved up the belt.
