What reasons are there for “go to bottom/top” links no longer being used much? We say stuff like that pretty casually, and then we find studies like this one goo.gl/RmY6u - 90% of people don't know how to use Ctrl-F. How likely is it they know to use Ctrl-Home? |

Are carousels effective? I totally agree! It's fantastic to see other pros validate what you already know with their own experiences, but oh how nice it would be to have something to cite to stubborn clients. |

Are carousels effective? Haha, "scathing" is probably a good one word summary of your reply. Cheers, Lee. Agreed. |

Are carousels effective? Eeek, looks like the evidence is adding up. It seems criminal that such prime page real estate is used to such ill effect. |

Are carousels effective? Thanks for your feedback, Adam. I always suspected they were born out of a mixture of easy implementation (jQuery) and clients still demanding that content be featured above the fold. |

How do you version-control your wireframe/prototype assets? @Jorn Oooh, thank you, Araxis actually looks very promising! Will give it a try. |

How do you version-control your wireframe/prototype assets? Cheers, Rahul. Awesome that you've got VC in Handcraft. What would be nice (feature creep, haha!) is the ability to flag and annotate a particular version for comparing to later - for example, an iteration that followed a user workshop or client feedback or scope change. |

How do you version-control your wireframe/prototype assets? Why not appropriate? Most of us use an iterative design approach and end up with piles of revisions for even the smallest project. Good version tracking and control seems to me like an overlooked problem. |
