Text alignment on header images you're better off A/B testing on your own site than blinding following what worked for someone else. |

A good way to display tables with sub-headlines I'd put the HTML / XML columns to the left of the headings / labels so that they are nearer and it's easier to tell which row they are on. |

Keyboard support for dropdown widget See my question: Patterns for keyboard accessible drop down lists tl;dr: There is no standard. The latest versions of office open the drop down when pressing Up/Down Arrow. IE and Firefox open the drop down when pressing Alt+Up/Down Arrow and Safari opens them when pressing the Spacebar. |

New design pattern for tagging documents? When a user selects a word or phrase you could show a tag button above the selection. That would be quicker to use and disrupt the reading flow less. |

Patterns for keyboard accessible drop down lists AHA! Pressing Alt+Up or Alt+Down works in Firefox and IE for web pages and settings dialogs, but not in Chrome. |

Patterns for keyboard accessible drop down lists Drop downs stay closed in web pages on Chrome, Firefox and IE9, and in those browsers settings dialogs. The ribbon UI and settings dialogs in Excel 2010 do open the drop down when pressing the up/down arrow keys. |

Patterns for keyboard accessible drop down lists all the drop downs I've tried do not open when using the arrow keys, they just move the selection without showing the list. Can you give a specific example of an app or system that behaves in this way? |
