@p.marino No problem! I'm not in the business of getting points. Just trying to help out :) Best of luck!

@Stephen We do Agile and SCRUM at my current job! It works well, but the UX group tends to position ourselves at more of a "Sprint Zero" to prep for the forthcoming sprints.

@Stephen They've helped tremendously. I don't waste time on designs that I know would be difficult to implement. I have a deeper appreciation for coding constraints, and understand what alternatives to propose. I would be eternally frustrated working in an application environment where I was a designer without any knowledge of how my designs would eventually become developed. It would be a series of endless disappointments from constantly being told my designs weren't feasible.

@Stephen Three years later and three years of experience as a full-time UX designer! My assumptions were right; I have turned out to be quite a useful asset given my skill set. My title has been UX Designer for the past year and a half (I actually started in engineering and moved to UX when they realized it was a better fit), and I have already received countless offers for Senior UX design roles. Thanks for your insight!

comment What should I call a switch statement in an UI where users won't know what a switch statement is?
Yeah, it's quite complicated. I guess I'm just going for a balance between learnability and recall. Thanks for your input!

Does this work with SaaS applications where the interactions aren't always super obvious?

Fireworks and Illustrator. The mockups are then exported as PNGs and posted to a site that PM will reference for creating dev. stories. Devs will then reference these images as they are writing front-end code.

Giving you the answer because you discuss action priority. Seems to be the most notable consideration.
