Why is it impossible to deselect HTML “radio” inputs? On a technical note, in html form submission, if no radio button is selected the name/value pair of the radio button input is not included in the form submission. This is also by design. I do not recommend changing their intended usage. |

I'm a UX/UI designer for a web division of a game company. How do I pick a masters program that will actually be helpful? Added an important concept. |

A/B or multi-variate testing as replacement for UX design? Edited for clarity in the final question. The syntax of the sentence was incorrect making the question confusing. |

Building an UX design portfolio? In March 2013, I switched my portfolio site to a tumblr blog. uxwala.tumblr.com I am getting much more interest and appreciation for my work and it's easier to express a simple concept, approach or provide screens and video. The narrative approach has much more appeal. |

Can an OK button do nothing? Definitely! Particularly if the dialog box is framed as the necessary action to perform. The cancel or "X" remains as a way to back out. Picture it like this: Step 1:You have ap rompt on screen 1 to "pick a transfer". Step 2: List of choices is offered in the pop up framed in a box that directs user to "Select a transfer". User clicks one, it goes to the next screen. User Clicks Cancel the box disappears. Efficient and understandable. One less click in this world! YAY |

Correct ordering position for 'Yes', 'No' and 'Not now'? You answered it yourself in the question. Your intuitive ordering probably makes the most sense to you.... it does to me too. |

Avoiding designing by committee LOL Charles, I didn't consider that aspect of it. Too true. |

Avoiding designing by committee One of the drawbacks of this profession, or any creative one is that other stakeholders somehow have a say in the final decision. It is much less so in other areas such as engineering. It behooves me to have to address: "make the logo bigger". Ho hum. |
