Form to get user's Machine-readable passport number plus lots of checksum digits. But chunking was one idea we thought about (only with different chunks). Maybe even pre-fill some of the chunks like country code which we can acquire a different way. |

“Edit” button in a grid Nope. I actually have 3 buttons available for every row (Edit, Delete & Action), so its not intuitive which action is performed upon clicking. Besides, opening the edit form takes a couple of seconds and I cannot have the user wait this time for every mistaken click. |

“Edit” button in a grid Just to make sure it's understood: I cannot offer inline editing. Pressing the "edit" button opens a lightbox with editing options relevant to the row selected. |

Wizard steps - how should I label them? Well, we currently have all the fields on one page and have a conversion rate that we really wish to improve. One of the ideas we are trying using A/B testing is the move to a registration wizard. So thanks for the feedback, but thats exactly what we're testing. |
