We can't detect errors as we don't keep any information, what we try to do is provide a visual cue of username+password so user can quickly see he made a typo without having to reveal the password field. For instance, ed+12345pink, while ed+1234*6*blue

Did you user test various algorithm to decide the color of a pin? Does 1 critical = 1 ok, or is it 1 critical = 10 ok? Or you can mark pin as red as soon as they have critical but scale them based on the number of critical (the more the bigger)
