How to organize multiple information popup areas over a table? I do prefer the idea of folding the relevant information inline as it removes the need for users to self organize any overlapping layout elements. I suggested that wasn't desirable in my question due to pushing too much off screen, but perhaps it can be designed around. One possible 'extra' is to have a view switch which temporarily hides/shows all open info panels - to help users whose attention focus may switch between monitoring the main table and the info panels. I do also still have a scenario where the table data is row based but graphical and contiguous and can't be separated though... |

How to unobtrusively confirm a user's choice in a survey? Hmmm...I wonder if people are reading the question Please explain why...in the above question. and seeing the above question as Would you recommend the course to a friend. And therefore answering the question: Please explain why would you recommend the course to a friend. Do you have evidence from talking to people taking the survey, to suggest whether this is or is not happening. If it is happening, then this is an XY problem |

Display data clearly in small space (Google Maps InfoWindow) Thank you - and you are welcome! :-) By banding I just meant to stretch a rectangle behind the description from one edge of the window to the other, creating a band right the way across - the pale yellow area in the example above. |

What are the most important business goals of a homepage? Unfortunately, this is an overly broad collection of questions for which you could write a book in order to answer - or read one! |
