Web software engineer.

Server (Java, PHP) and UI (JS, CSS)

Designer and photographer on the side.

I'm a serial user of the double __ space after a period — even though people tell me it's obsolete in the computer-world, I can't shake the habit from my 7th grade typing class.

comment Should a toggle button show its current state or the state to which it will change?
@SNag Worse, green means "Go ahead and press me!" -- not exactly what you want when it means to start heavy machinery, either.

Great idea about the different icon. It's more specific/unique and represents the feel of "this needs correcting" better as opposed to a big stop sign.

comment How do I maintain flow during checkout?
@FrankL I have decided to explicitly state on the help text for the email address field "This is where we'll email your certificate" (if they are not creating an account) so that in my case users will be even less likely to use a dummy account. See the result here.
