What is the best way to display edit/delete actions on a row? Exactly, wysiwyg editors are an imitation of word processors. But that's beside the point. I don't have a wysiwyg textarea field, so I don't actually have any buttons except "Save" and "Cancel". |

What is the best way to display edit/delete actions on a row? hmm...interesting. I can't say that I've ever seen this approach before. I wouldn't expect a bunch of buttons unless it was a wysiwyg editor, and even then, I would expect them to be at the top. I like the idea of clicking the row to edit it, but that only leaves me with a save button and cancel button. Maybe a delete button somewhere. |

Most User-Friendly Form Fields for Entering Date/Time? Nice example. Too bad the months are sorted wrong! It is more comfortable for these to be sorted alphabetically in vertical columns, instead of horizontal rows: useit.com/alertbox/mega-menus-wrong.html |
