How to tell the user to click to edit data +1 good point. Just note that hover alone will not solve all use cases as those using the website from a touch enabled device have no "hover". This may not be an issue for @ALS though depending on what his target audience is. |

UX design document for Web platform Grid control Are you referring to guidelines for any web-based data grid? Is there something you're looking for in particular? |

Is it good UX that in Windows 7 & 8 the “windows” of the same application are automatically grouped into one button? @lesderid While I did miss that, I definitely still think it deserves mentioning :) |

Is it good UX that in Windows 7 & 8 the “windows” of the same application are automatically grouped into one button? There's another "workaround" which doesn't combine the buttons and also doesn't hide the window labels. You just need to go to Taskbar properties in Windows 7+, find the "Taskbar buttons" drop down and select "Never combine". |

Loading Times / Breaking points I think that's what chester was referring to in his question when he mentioned there is a general rule of thumb for waiting for content. This is the only applicable rule I've been able to find though. |

Drop down values: Percent complete. Not sure which format is best @user15921 So the items themselves cannot have any value like 1.25% complete, correct? But the overall completion of a checklist is a calculated value so it could end up being something like 35.6%, correct? |
