Is it appropriate to rely on cookies for any non trivial site actions in practice? Given the OP's concern, I was assuming he or she had some basis to believe a non-trivial number of users would be impacted by disabled cookies. I agree they are very well established these days, although there are some interesting new EU laws that may make cookies legally sketchy choices. |

What are some things to consider when optimizing a web page for a projector? On a related note, a lot of DLP projectors make the color red look horrible. |

Contact form or mailto: link? Clearly forms are the trend on most sites. However, at least having the email address as an option (with or without a mailto link) is probably also worthwhile. |

Removing a listview cell in Android - UI Pattern? @jonshariat Sure thing. I wasn't sure what the generally accepted practice was here- in that case. |

Removing a listview cell in Android - UI Pattern? Possible duplicate of Android List View - delete row button, delete selected button or delete from item click menu. You may want to take a look at that question and see if it addresses what you're asking about. |

Where to put common actions on the screen in Android When you say "common actions", are you meaning commonly used actions or actions common to multiple tabs? More specifics would be very helpful. |

Dismissing keyboard on Android: UI Pattern @TomvB I've seen that button too on some keyboards in some cases. Looking at the my Motorola Droid it isn't always present. Maybe someone here knows a bit more and can elaborate on why. |

Dismissing keyboard on Android: UI Pattern @Benny There is a lot of unused vertical screen real-estate in the Screenshot Tejaswi provided. I think moving the buttons up and leaving them there would work very well. |
