I've been using computers since I was 4, which is now more than 30 years. When I think about this it makes me feel old. I love rollercoasters, big band jazz and movies. I miss my cat, Molly Millions. I'm looking forward to getting my new cats, Noboru Wataya and Cruickshank, when I find them. I primarily write web software using Ruby on Rails, but recently started writing iPad applications in Objective C.

comment Lock screens and password recovery on apps
:-) No, really, it's an app that has significant use for people who want to obsessively track the gifts they give or intend to give. thedossierapp.com

comment What are common UI misconceptions and annoyances?
For all intents and purposes, the UI is the functionality, from the perspective of the user. Of course you need to know what the application is going to do, in broad strokes, but the UI design is going to bring up what is really important.
