A man with far too many questions trying to work out how the world works.

My primary interests are in UX and education as a whole - specifically in finding ways of improving or remaking the education system so that it is still appropriate to the world we will live in at the time that students graduate.

comment ECommerce Order Confirmation Email Format
I suggest that you sign up for a few accounts with some bigger e-commerce companies, and see what their confirmation emails are like. Learn from that.

comment Having two different label alignments in one website / application
@rk. The question was "My question is, is it okay to have two different form alignments in one website if those two forms have different purposes?". How was that talking about two different alignments in one form?

@3nafish My claim was that if a two different forms have different purposes, it may be justified to have different alignments. This is done so regularly that you probably don't even notice. But as an example, I've added one that most of us should be able to relate to.

@nadyne probably closer to most users intent. If you decide that you are going to guess at a users intent, it's best to confirm this guess with them than just do it. The way outlook does it, you still have to click 'Ok' once, and this way you also only have to click once.

comment Another phrasing for the term “Directions” in this case?
@AthomSfere Instructions don't have to be step by step to be instructions. Based on then screenshot users are being given instructions.
