While I agree with the general sentiment of your answer, it would be helpful for most people reading this if you were to expand on the reasons why you recommend using type assist.

comment Feeling overwhelmed - where do I start?
@DanielVianna This doesn't seem to be posing a UX question in a format that can be answered on this site. You're essentially asking for a broad range of factors which would better be broken down into a number of smaller questions, or to bring up in the chat room.

comment Do users understand this hybrid checkbox/radio control?
@GrahamHerrli You said that you wanted to know whether users understand a control that you came across yesterday. The answer to this will be primarily opinion based with little objectivity in it. If you were proposing a problem for which this was a possible solution, then answers could go into solutions for the problem rather than "Yes, they get it", or "No, they don't" type arguments.

comment Do users understand this hybrid checkbox/radio control?
@GrahamHerrli If that is your intent in the question, then it would be closed as being a pure opinion type question, or as being essentially a survey. If you were asking whether anyone has used this in practice, that would likely be acceptable.
