A man with far too many questions trying to work out how the world works.
My primary interests are in UX and education as a whole - specifically in finding ways of improving or remaking the education system so that it is still appropriate to the world we will live in at the time that students graduate.

Best practice or alternatives to handling sub/side nav in a mobile site Hi Kerim and welcome to UX.se. As it stands your question doesn't give any reasoning or explanation as to why you would recommend that. Please add this to your answer, otherwise it's a comment and not an answer. |

How to provide autocomplete and autosuggest on the same search box at the same time Hi Steven and welcome to UX.se. Please make your question more specific, as right now it is more like a discussion point than a question that fits within the site guidelines. |

Will removing the border & bevel on these buttons make them look un-buttonlike? @OwenVersteeg It's not about what I like, it's about what shows affordance. The bevel can be very subtle, so I tend to prefer that, but that is just my design preference and doesn't really have a UX justification. |

Why does scrolling when dragging an element scroll faster on mouse wiggle? This isn't really a UX question unless you're asking whether it should behave that way. It's a technical implementation question, and as much as I'd love to know why, it's still outside the scope of this site. |

Will removing the border & bevel on these buttons make them look un-buttonlike? @OwenVersteeg The first one doesn't look like a shadow as shadows are soft. The second one has better affordance, although the choice of 3px is a design one, not a UX one, so whatever you like design wise for that. I would still suggest a small bevel though to improve affordance. |
