What is best for sharing “Corporate Application Design and UX Guidelines”? A Printout, a pdf on or a website? Google says there are some options for testing Silverlight Apps with Selenium: See hanselman.com/blog/UnitTestingSilverlightWithSelenium.aspx and code.google.com/p/silverlight-selenium |

Alternative design to master-detail grid rows If I understand this...the user is clicking ona Job row, and then we need to show the details of the job? |

Drop down list best practice/usability I'm assuming that making them all consistent isn't an option? |

What is an effective way to present wireframes and other IA deliverables to client? I think that is too broad a generalization to be useful, here. I agree that you have to set customers expectations on what they're seeing from a wireframe, but I have found value in showing wireframes as a way to get feedback on a design direction. Since you don't like wireframes, what else could be done to communicate with clients? |

Is it bad practice to make people fill out forms to download company whitepapers? +1 for AB testing the presence of the sign up page. |

What do you do with an inconclusive AB Test? Keep the change or lose it? Obviously a silly story, but you get the point... |

Personas: Do you study current users, potential users, or both? #1 is an excellent Yes, but...One thing you want to do with personas is to highlight behavioral differences that make a difference. You want the research to guide you to the different behavioral types or information needs of your different user populations. New/existing may or may not be a relevant or important dimension for how users use your app. |
