I have an idea, but untested: use keywords in search field like "replace 'keyword' with 'keyword 2'". Needs a little education before using, but the interface remains light for those who don't use the feature.

@cimmanon i agree that error pages can improve your visitors' experience - there's no doubt about that. My only issue was with the statement that the custom error pages improve security. Which is not true.

Well, to be honest, it's not really a UX question in the first place. There's no UX to a element user does not see. The answer is based on my personal experience and worked most of the cases. Also demands the least amount of effort.
