I'm a software developer currently specializing in Java (previously Perl and PHP). Most of my applications employ Struts2 and JPA/Hibernate. I love Tomcat, but I usually have to deal with Weblogic. ;)
I enjoy reading, movies, gaming, programming, friends & family, and contributing on SO.

How many items in a web form drop down is too many? Your example is for pagination, though. How would this apply to other cases like countries or makes of cars, etc? |

What would be the best way to let a user add a URL to a form? This is fine on older browsers too, as they will just fall back to a standard text input type. |

How many items in a web form drop down is too many? You make a good point about restricting what can be entered via autocomplete. |

How many items in a web form drop down is too many? Sorry, I said several when I meant a few. I've clarified. I believe there are ~ 195 countries. The question is oriented more toward drop downs in general, though. Countries was just the current example. |
