comment Does anyone have statistics on usage of the Kano Model?
I've not come across any stats - but I've personally used it a couple of times. I came across this article on UXMag - but I didn't find any stats: uxmag.com/articles/…

comment Is there a name for this semi-responsive technique?
I think to most people the main difference is between responsive and seperate mobile site (mobile optimised?). If talking more about the techniques used you could further break it down into responsive; responsive grid; adaptive;

comment What is more memorable: Avatar or Username?
Also consider the likelihood of the user changing these values. I imagine avatar is much more likely to be updated than username. My mental models of avatars is that they can change where as I expect usernames to stay the same.

comment How do I deal with users that I know are pirating my software?
Aren't you rewarding negative behaviour by giving a discount to those who pirate the software? Also I would query whether the amount of money is the issue? It could just be the behaviour of the pirates that they will always rather have something for free rather than pay.

comment Do users log-out?
Could also be worth considering the environment the user is likely to access the site from. I know my log out behaviour is differs on my home computer from my work computer and again from a public computer.

comment What to do if a user accidentally clicks 'Deny' when the browser asks for Geolocation
Agree - When using Geolocation provide the user with the ability to switch it on. Obviously how you handle this needs to be considered. You don't want to annoy the user when they have clearly made a choice. Also consider whether Geolocation could be stored as a setting somewhere? SO the user can turn it on/off as required.
