Should users be able to zoom in a responsive webdesign? I'm confused. Zooms with pinch aren't triggering media queries on iOS. Are they doing that on other devices? |

What should be considered when launching a Wikipedia-esque site to make it as useful as possible? Yeah, I suggest to split it up into several questions, provide more information: what are the user goals, specific use cases, what kind of users you have, if these user need it for work / freetime... and so on |

What should be considered when launching a Wikipedia-esque site to make it as useful as possible? This is a very broad question: I recommend you look at wikipediaredefined.com They take a close look at Wikipedia and how it might be improved, as they think the current Wikipedia really isn't an ideal solution. |

Which design pattern is the best option for drilling down into data? What is the context? Mobile / Tablet / Desktop or all of those? |

What is the best approach to labelling text input fields on smartphone application forms? just a hint: you can actually use Balsamiq on UX Exchange, you don't have to upload screens. You can import your .bmml code. |

Can anyone recommend some good podcasts on user experience design? For me lately there were too many follow-up session after a virtual seminar, actual interviews felt rare. Also when there is an event up, they advertise it heavily, which sometimes can be annoying. |

What is the best interaction pattern for entering a range on a mobile phone? I have, though I don't know how android would handle that, if we wanted to do a phone gap app on an HTML basis. And I think spinners are not effective for options that go up to 80 options. If one could create a spinner with two wheels using HTML and phone gap, it might be interesting. |

Anyone used Balsamiq mockups for JIRA? the question is not for the balsamiq standalone version, but for the plugin version, so your answer is not necessarily true for the Jira plugin version. |

How should I interview UI and IA job applicants? I see UX professionals using the word refactoring more and more, but often in a way that does not correspond how programmers use it. Refactoring in programming means optimizing the code of an application without changing the UI the code produces. So in that sense UX people almost never refactor, except for the ones who may by programming prototypes. |
