List of values vs radio button group vs drop-down list I would thus keep only radio buttons for the reason above, and your component, and make a rule / guideline to indicate when to use one instead of the other. |

List of values vs radio button group vs drop-down list Your component is a good substitute to combo boxes: scrolling might be easier, the find field is good for lot of entries. Radio buttons get an advantage: when there are few choices (say up to 5), they allow to see at a glance what are the alternatives. |

Should a full-sentence HTML link include the period in the linked text? Related question: Should a sentence ending with a URL terminate with a period? |

Why shouldn't we use words such as 'here' and 'this' in textlinks? Making sites accessible might serve a very small part of your public, but is still strongly recommended, when not required by law... Of course, this doesn't reduce the value of your point, I just disagree with your first paragraph. As DA01 said, no point in opposing usability and accessibility, both can be addressed by good design. |

Are some of Windows 7's UI less intuitive than previous versions? Alt-D doesn't work for me (French Win 7). |

Are some of Windows 7's UI less intuitive than previous versions? Ah, good point for the click on the address bar, I retract this criticism, this is much better. And thanks for the keyboard shortcut. |
