Is flashing red text a good idea for denoting an active alarm? Agreed, flash something else, but never hide the text (which is what flash/blink does 50% of the time). You want to draw attention, but also make it easy to read the error quickly. |

What are some good font guidelines for headers, paragraphs, etc. that just look really nice? Your question is open to subjective responses and discussion. If you gave examples of what you consider "nice", people could suggest similar fonts. |

How can I structure a usability study to produce findings that relate to the long-term use of a tool by an expert user? Fixed two minor grammatical errors. Had to tag on a few more changes to make the minimum (6 non-space) chars. |

Does it make sense to put a prompt for sound or mute before a game is started? It's not necessarily only the first time. Sometimes I play late at night when everyone else is asleep, sometimes in the day when music and sounds is okay. My preference can change every day and every night. |
