Do user experience practitioners ever have to worry about code? The better the understanding of code and development concepts, the better the perspective with which to craft a strong user experience. |

What are the job titles of people who design how software should look and feel? The look is created by one or multiple of a graphic designer, ux designer, ui designer, etc. There is a feel that comes from the look, and that feel can be reinforced, expanded, diminished, or changed otherwise by the actual interactions (clicks, scrolling, hovering, dragging, dropping, etc). Interactions are created and/or refined by a interaction designer and/or ux designer. |

Can I use “Prev” instead of “Previous” on a button? This is a pretty cool technique that doesn't get used in responsive design enough! |

The term “User Experience” in sales It is definitely a strong alternative, but I'm not sure it carries as much weight. It would be easy for someone to dismiss "Well Designed" as just "looking good". |

The term “User Experience” in sales Great answer. The approach makes sense for a specific product, but if your service is more consulting-centric, and what you do is help other business' user experiences, how could you explain that "user experience" is what you are helping improve for them? |

What is the UX strategy behind Facebook forcing users to use the timeline? +1 Agreed. It is clear that they want users to share significant life events beyond just instagram photos. Also, they way they let you add those events, is more usable for them data-wise because they are specifically classified. |

User perception on non “.com” top level domains An important question is "Who is your target audience?". Some people may not be able to distinguish between .com and .co as well as others. |
