@ntoskrnl Sorry, I would love to know what "POLA" stands for. Any hints?

comment Analog Clock or Digital Clock to tell the time
How about not trying to simulate a real-world-thing and simply print the time in bigger letters 05:52:03?

comment What should be fetched if you “Search” with a blank query?
My mother once complained that the Windows Live Messenger was broken, because she cannot send a message she has written. Turned out Microsoft removed the "Send" button in an update and replaced it with the Enter key.

comment Should pressing Ctrl+C with nothing selected really clear your clipboard / copy the whole line?
IMHO it is counter-intuitive, yet once I learned how Visual Studio does it (copy the whole line) it is incredible awesome to use.

comment How do you give your user options without overloading them?
To me, those "Yes", "No", etc. buttons are rather annoying and a sign of a "lazy developer". You could get rid of all the text in the beginning of your message box if you simply give the buttons verbs as names, e.g. "Overwrite", "Skip", "Append", etc. And get rid of that "Help" button, too.

comment What properly goes into the “caption” of a message box?
Your answer assumes that a message box is displayed because of an error. What would you show in the title for questions and the like?

Some help texts on websites I saw had a dotted underline to indicate "hover me, I show you a tooltip".
