Better Term for “Web Design and Development” Company @mandynicole: Oh wait, that's just for the name: "Siku-Siku Studio(s)." I'd still need to search for a proper term to say what it does e.g. "a web [...] company." |

Better Term for “Web Design and Development” Company @mandynicole: +1 for the great suggestion: SikuSiku Studios. By the way, would it be more correct to use a singular form i.e. "Studio"? |

Better Term for “Web Design and Development” Company Thanks for the discussion! A derivative of "solutions" might work well for the company under question. Although I agree that a site equipped with back-end, fron-end, and so on might constitute a better web "solution," for some people a simple / static site is their complete solution. And, that word affords a higher degree of flexibility when the company is ready to grow. |

Better Term for “Web Design and Development” Company Thank you for the inputs. Those might work but, from my experience, the word "agency" has frequent connotation of being (unreasonably) overpriced. |

Better Term for “Web Design and Development” Company @Naoise: That's a good insight. I feel that the term "design" can be a superset that includes "development," whereas "development" more often than not doesn't include the design stage. |

Best practices for interactive prototypes deliverables? I find that PowerPoint is useful and easy to use when I want to add some colorful callouts and need to communicate about user flow (you get a sense of backward / forward motion when you navigate through the slides). Colors are useful as complements to the mostly black-and-white Balsamiq prototype. |
