How can I make these links more obvious to click on? I added a revised version for additional context. |

How can I make these links more obvious to click on? Oh good point about "they are obvious but do not draw in the user enough" |

How can I make these links more obvious to click on? I agree, that section was an after thought and I thought I could test the concept without having the final styling in place. But it made me realize how the technical visual details are playing in. |

Studies showing what prompts users to view the privacy policy of a website that does not have user accounts? I agree with everything you said. The intent of my question, however, was to see who and why looks at those documents. Based on their motivation, we can then implement the best experience for them. For example is their biggest concern is, "will this new social network use my kids pictures in their marketing materials." Or will they easily give out my private messages to law-enforcement professionals without proper warrant, etc. |

Studies showing what prompts users to view the privacy policy of a website that does not have user accounts? @DA01 I am wondering if you mean to have them write it, but have the lawyers approve the final copy? |

Studies showing what prompts users to view the privacy policy of a website that does not have user accounts? "The lawyers say I have to remind you again that you really need to read the long version on the right. Which hurts my feelings a little, but is still probably good advice." haha, as funny as it is, it definitely breaks the ice between user and organization. The layout that they have is very clean and well organized. |

Present a map of the company locations to establishes trust amongst first time visitors? Yes, Foursquare is awesome. They use the MapBox API to power their maps. More info on that service is available at www.mapbox.com/developers/ |

Present a map of the company locations to establishes trust amongst first time visitors? @tillinberlin I love that idea. I am thinking CartoDB because they offer very attractive options with very customizable information that can be presented to the user. |

Present a map of the company locations to establishes trust amongst first time visitors? Nice example with Louis Vuitton. They also gave me the idea of having language option, search features, and to subtly have links in the footer to direct you back to relevant parts of the website. |

What are pleasant ways to move the user through a technical support request, if they are not very tech savvy? Wow this was super helpful, thank you. Has me thinking in so many new directions, "They could save an awful lot of money if they went for the cheaper options but they don't because those companies offer fantastic service contracts where all that is required is a phone call to the relevant company saying the business name and the equipment that's faulty " |

What are good ways to map out the sequence of user interactions on a page? @PhillipW Yes, nice catch on missing words. The reason for my question is because I wanted to show a mockup with illustrations so that I can present this to the client because we are still researching. They gave us the business requirements and suggested layout but I was able to get free reign for now, so I want to make sure that I can communicate why research shows that the proposed layout is effective and more pleasant experience to users, so we can get the go ahead to proceed in that direction. |

What are good ways to map out the sequence of user interactions on a page? Ok this is very cool, Alex. I will definitely use this design in projects. In the site that I am currently designing though, most of the interactions happen vertically and across pages because the site has a lot of technical documentation that can be read. However, I LOVE THIS for the technical support feature because it can guide users through a simple way to submit a request, so I am now thinking of having pictures of the steps to supplement the bullet point written instructions. Thanks for chiming in. |

Present a map of the company locations to establishes trust amongst first time visitors? @DA01, so allow me to give another example. Say you were looking for a commercial printer, and you live in San Francisco. And say a concern of your was, "what happens when I need service." Well what if on the manufacturers website, we mentioned that the manufacturer and the service centers are very close to you AND that we have your area covered. |

What would be general number of paragraphs before before deciding to add a picture to a mobile site? Nadyne, Thank you for the tip on the gift cards and how to approach people with them. I will begin to implement that as well. |

What would be general number of paragraphs before before deciding to add a picture to a mobile site? @DA01 yeah I hesitated to post a link but I am not yet able to post images. I am open to suggestions on how to write better questions, thanks for pointing that out. |
