comment Child registering for a service/app, parental concerns. Any experiences?
Thanks :) Thought of the possibility of tricking the system too, but I guess there is no easy way to make sure.

comment Managing/organizing a portfolio of UX for a company
I used a free Wiki (MediaWiki) first, however I would not go back, Confluence has been worth investment, the main reasons being: Confluence is so much easier to use and edit, due to this, it is easy to get rest of the company in too - if they can use MsWord, they can use Confluence. Especially with less tehcnical people, that was a problem before. Then the connection to JIRA, it is super, and with all the plugins that you can get (to edit your designs on page, no need to export-import), for Gliffy and Balsamiq etc. I had a quick look at PODIO, looks interesting, has apps too. Good luck :)

comment Removing Admin rights from an Admin user
Thanks again rk, makes sense. I think I will go for the approach #2, it will work great for the system that I am currently working on. I have a similar problem in another system where the hierarchy is less clear (due to design decisions that were made before I got involved and the overall architecture), which makes the approach #2 more tricky.

comment how to implement a style guide for a team of 2-4
Yes. I must stay that Confluence is really good, especially if you are using other Atlassian products with it. In general, it is good value compared to the time that you would otherwise be using with hacking through a free-to-use Wiki solution (been there done that!).

comment A case against multi-colored navigation buttons
Thank you Adam! :) Luckily, in our case, we have quite a good gfx designer who is using the color palette pretty sparingly. But I can see your point with limiting future possibilities. Really like the Fast Company web page gfx. Using the color palette sparingly has usability side-effects, though, when the site has more than three buttons, some of the colors are re-used, which makes unrelated buttons look related. But.. I hope I have gotten my point through in the team who is working on the project.

RK: thank you for your advice. My problem is that I am trying to convince a person who has no background in interaction design or usability. However, I think this should make the point.
