What should be the difference between enabled and disabled buttons? (especially if they are grey) And don't forget to set cursor: default! |

Is there an optimal font size / line height ratio? For the curious: html5boilerplate specifies line-height: 1.4; (github.com/h5bp/html5-boilerplate/blob/master/css/main.css#L23). |

What makes users register? @WiseStrawberry, oh gosh no! But my name will work just fine if you need to personalize the site for me; alternatively, a "Display Name" field works well, too. I'm mainly complaining about sites that require an email address, which is always available to me, and a username - the one username I'd like to use is probably already taken ... which means I won't remember the username I picked ... which means I will not be able to log in to your site next time. |

What makes users register? Having to pick a username often stops me from registering, especially if they don't allow @ signs in the username. |

Which users actions are worth logging, to gain better perspective on their behavior? While the answer doesn't directly answer your question, Observer itself is an answer to the question you probably should be asking: how can I observe my user's in action? |

Which users actions are worth logging, to gain better perspective on their behavior? No, I am not affiliated. I'm just a user of the service. |

When is endless paging appropriate? Google Images does this "endless paging" now and they DO mark individual "pages" with a page number for you. |
