comment Do average users expect the Esc key to work on websites?
I expect Esc to stop page loading, stop running scripts, cancel a pending meta-refresh, exit full-screen mode, etc. I most certainly do not expect it to go back, and I would think your site was horribly broken if this happened.

comment How to prevent users using your app while driving?
It's common enough for truckers to drive in teams of two (and sometimes three) so you should expect your application to be used in this scenario eventually, even if it is not right now.

comment Should input fields be cleared out when the user selects them?
@ntoskrnl Only on Windows. The browser address bar doesn't do that on Linux, or I think OS X. It drives me insane every time I am forced to use a Windows machine to browse the web...

I read your email, but you don't know it because for security reasons I do not load external media from my emails. If you stop sending me email, I may stop buying.

comment Should you concede to user demands that seem clearly inferior?
Is it not possible to provide both interfaces, and let users slowly become accustomed to the new way?

comment Why do washing machines have windows?
Why, then, doesn't a top-loading washer have a window? It might be just as fun to watch.
