UX Designer who just graduated from Georgia Tech!
I also draw a comic, Last Res0rt, that ends up being a test bed for all those things I learn about good design.
I'm currently looking for a full-time UX Designer role -- if you're keen, check out the the rest of my resume and let me know you're interested so we can discuss things further!

Why is Google's “I'm Feeling Lucky” button still next to the search bar? Correction: the button USED to cost Google $110 million per year, back in 2010. It doesn't anymore thanks to Google Instant. |

Should we worry about dial up users? Next you'll be telling me I should still account for IE6 users too? It's not that I don't believe those folks exist, but I imagine that there's so few of them (compared to straight-up mobile users) that both have dialup AND a big enough screen to appreciate a wider site that accounting for them is an exercise in futility. |

Should we worry about dial up users? I agree with your answer from the angle of "the only slow connections you have to worry about anymore are mobile connections", but humor me: I get how you can serve mobile sites to mobile users because you can detect the browser width. How do you detect "slow"? |

What steps should a UX'er take when re-designing a website? Charles: I would argue that an initial content REVIEW of the website in question (like you described) is valuable enough to do at the onset, but a full content AUDIT (with a line-by-line summary of content, site navigation, and so on) should be saved for when you actually need it. |

Why do we have OS names like Mountain Lion, Jellybean, and Quantal Quetzal instead of numbers? Working on it... If you'd like to help me, I'd appreciate it. |

Which one you think is better approach for viewing notification - facebook or quora/forrst? You've got to be more specific -- are you talking about pop-up notifications? The "notification icons" on the bar along the top? What? If you include a screen capture or five, that'll help... |

How can I test a web site about accessibility and usability? We need more information to answer this question properly. Are you being asked to test a given site as a blind person, or are you testing a site for other blind people, using other blind people (not including yourself) as test subjects? |
