I am an experienced software architect/developer living in Melbourne, Australia.I am passionate about pragmatic architecture and solution design, solid development practices and code quality in enterprise development teams.
I am working on distributed systems and SOA (using WCF), legacy integration and modernisation, defining a .Net technology roadmap, application lifecycle management using TFS in my day job.
I started programming in C++ before moving on to C# about 6 years back and loving the language and .Net framework since then.
I am interested to learn from others and trying to share with the community interesting knowledge and information that I come across.

Alternatives to selecting valid value from a list of items I asked the question because today this screen has just one "choice" on the left say drinks. Now there is a requirement to have 5-6 choice groups. Obviously changing too much of a LOB app has training and other challenges. But yes I am open to completely different approach if it is better and I can sell the concept to business. |

Alternatives to selecting valid value from a list of items @lzhaki - Edited the question for more details. This is a windows forms application, no divs. The link is sort of an explicit guide for the users on what to do. It may not be obvious that to assign a new value they will have to click anywhere. |
