How to label status on buttons? "Publish Test" -> "Hide Test" This could be like little iPhone slider on/off + colour code Or just as a button |

How to label status on buttons? maybe something like this: "Status: visibility private" + "edit" link that would allow the editor to change the status. |

Why don't applications explain reason for greyed-out icons/menu options? are you talking about question mark next the first post? If you hover over it it will explain what it is. |

Colour status notification for admin That's a bit confusing... I thought it meant "outside = on the way to you!". But I guess if you come to the website and you see it in red you would think that the product is not in stock. Why wouldn't they want to use "Out of stock" or "Sold out"? |

Colour status notification for admin by "outside" do you mean that it is on the way to the user? |

Left to Right Navigation the eye-tracking is proven in the 1st article that I posted. Also if you think about any time line or any progress bar they always go from left to right. |

Left to Right Navigation Also simple things like x/y diagrams that we used to draw in Maths class always started with 0,0 and moving Right on X axis would increase the number 1,2,3,4 moving to the Left on X axis would decrease the number -1,-2,-3,-4. |

Left to Right Navigation @gustavodritsh here is another study its not exactly on the "navigation" but its shows why putting the button on the right of the screen makes it more visible/click-able.uxmovement.com/buttons/… |
